Nice edit Kim.  Good choice of music, good selection of footage, all round goodness.  Much better than the youth's effort of video production... However, It just doesn't look sketchy enough for my liking.  In real life he looked way more sketchy! Perhaps for the next big ascent (but from who?) the climber could wear a microphone on them... that would be intense!

Good video - the climb itself looked properly horrible, tenuous, and smeary.  But what really impressed me was the way it dealt with the wait on the ledge.  Built tension without tedium - felt edgy and captured that vibe of wanting to be rested but not wanting to cool-down... a moment of resolve... fuck it lets go.....

It's the little things - the way some drums kicked in when James stood and patted his legs....

Cheers... made my day.

You know in the many times ive watched this being made and in the final edits with kim i dont think i ever actually noticed that!  And i dont think kim actually did it on purpose, though i may be wrong.  Perhaps he is the new digital shakespeare.

Quality short flick... great editing, particularly the wait on the ledge and a nice choice of music to finish - I laughed out loud...

Good work fellas..

damn fuckin straight i did    watch more carefully next time

it's generally the hardest bit, getting stuff to match with the music (or vice versa), especially for this one cos i edited the lot to the david holmes track, then decided the whole thing was a bit dull, chanced upon the pressure drop track yesterday an did some hasty recutting last night!

Just watched it at home - very nice indeed and a seriously hard and insecure looking bit of climbing - effort James and effort for another sweet video Kim :)
