Woz talkin about this at the plantation yesterday - seems this may be slipping by unnoticed. Funniest thing I've seen on telly since Partridge.
Wednesday 7:30, BBC 2.

Course those of you with digital probably saw it last year

Sure did! I've told a few people about it since then, but it hasn't made a difference because you can't get it on video and it wasn't repeated. Now its on terrestrial it should get the rispeck it deserves! Recommended.

Finally got round to watching it last night. A bit bizarre and silly, but quite amusing.

The good thing about having eight thousand channels to flick through is coming across the occasional work of comic genius.

My personal favourite being Garth Marenghi's Darkplace.

Quote
‘Celebrated horror genius Garth Marenghi introduces his long-lost television project: a haunting medical drama set in Romford.

The best-selling writer is already known to hundreds as the creative force behind such classic chillers as The Ooze (can water die?), Afterbirth (a mutated placenta attacks Bristol) and Black Fang (rats learn to drive).'

Episode 3 is on the BBC website...

Naboo is showing Vince his library of magic books,

Vince: What's that one?
Naboo: (snatching the book back) Don't touch that
Vince:all right, easy
Naboo: This is black magic, this is hardcore. Don't mess with the occult
Vince:I thought it was good for you
Naboo:What?
Vince:You know, good for your digestive system
Naboo:That's Yakult
Vince: Oh yeah
