The issue with the nhs physios are that it’s hit or miss to get any understanding on the context of the injury and where it comes from. Or any understanding on how to treat it relative to our sport. With no understanding they would and do, typically play the safe approach. No don’t do anything.
It isn’t a criticism of the nhs or your work just that If I found one who understood it would be a miracle. You might be that miracle but chances are we’d never meet.

I had my first Skype with Pablo today. He was knowledgeable and spent an hour looking and virtually prodding and poking my hand and arm.
