Cheap Bouldering Pads?
May 23, 2016, 10:30:42 am
I'm in the market for a new pad - any recommendations for something reasonably priced but well made?

If they're your only requirements then you probably want an Alpkit one don't you?

If you're happy with second hand, keep an eye on the for sale forum on ukc, often pads popping up

I am happy with my Alpkit Project. It seems to be wearing well and the foam is holding up better than the edelrid/metolius/black diamond pads I have previously owned.

If you are after something cheaper though I noticed Bergfreunde have an own brand Ocun pad they are knocking out for £86 (https://www.bergfreunde.co.uk/bergfreundede-paddy-kava-v2-crash-pad/?backlink=eyJ1cmwiOiJcL2NyYXNoLXBhZHNcLz9saXN0b3JkZXJieT1veHZhcm1pbnByaWNlJmxpc3RvcmRlcj1hc2MjOTUzNjYzNmI3MWM2NTExMDRkMzZhYTVkYzAwZTUiLCJoYXNoIjoiZTdmNzc4ZWQ1YWNkZTVhY2ZjMDcxZjlmNjc1YmQ5NTEifQ==). I haven't owned anything by Ocun however from reviews on here there stuff seems to be decent quality.
