Ben will always be Ben Moon, and the rest of us will never be Ben Moon.

Still as true today as it ever was.

I think your stock answer when challenged on any subject in the lecture room or social media should be ...."You do realise I've done Rainshadow"

Thats exactly what I was thinking: this is more inspiring than Bens ascent because he's like, Ben Moon. Stu is one of us.

A good one obviously.

It's always great to hear about people in their late 30s and beyond doing PBs. Gives me hope.

Presuming appropriate life choices are made e.g. not having kids, working as little as possible.

Yep, the boltclipping prognosis looks good for all those workshy impotent 50yo climbers.

It feels hard enough now and I don't even have a kid. I'm currently sat on a beautiful sunstroked beach on the Adriatic in Croatia when the only place I want to be is a dark, gloomy cave full of pigeons in Wales. Women  :'(

Best quote ever that, George Best ftw.

Well done Stu, mega news.

:off: No biggie but the George Best quote is actually

'I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered'

Another one is

'I'd have to be superman to do some of the things I'm supposed to have done, I've been at six different places at six different times'.  :)

A quote that always raises a chuckle... and then you remember that he died as a result of alcoholism, and had two failed marriages and was (an admitted) wife-beater.  If he'd caused any traffic accidents I think we would have a contender for most cautionary quotation ever.
