Sounds interesting, I take it you're Didsbury / Chorlton based or further out than that?

Rusholme. So I actually cycle sometimes and get to witness the twatiness up close and personal with a healthy dose of danger.

Sometimes fell like an HVS/E1 with decent gear. Occasional spice, but overall safe. Other days I think rather be stuck halfway up an E6 slab in flip flops with mayonnaise for chalk.

Of course I am a bastion of good driving, civility and general automotive etiquette. ;-)

Bloody hell, cycling that routes at least E2, even if you do have a Spannish spotter.

Maybe we should organise some Manchester beers

Awesome, I've never understood buying a £2k car, then spending £10k to make it look like a £1k car. Similarly I've never understood buying an ugly £60k German car, and spending another £30k to make it look like a really ugly £15k car that could be from China or Korea ....

Wow.

That site brought to mind Stephen Ireland's Range Rover. I thought it was just retarded football players who drove such monstrosities....

http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/photos/135982/15-spectacularly-craptacular-footballers-cars.html

The fact that there are companies who make a living out of making horrible cars look more horrible is an eye opener!

Seven identical cars, in the seven colours of the rainbow, each with matching interiors and a rack for three M-16 rifles in the boot. Rifles painted in matching colour, ça va sans dire.

They don't really "do" exercise, the national dish being family-size KFC buckets, one per diner ...

Oh come on!

Shit! There's a Kahn parked outside my house, along with an electric blue resprayed M3 on white rims. The sight of these side by side make me feel quite queasy!

There's a company on the way to the Northern General that'll ruin any car you like for a large fee. I saw a flying spur on the forecourt one week and a few later an abomination rolled past.

They've also turned an orange BMW into an M3 lookalike, poorly.

Think I've seen some of their work outside their building, they certainly don't do subtle.

I'd love to see her attempt to enter/park in/exit any of the NCPs in Sheffield. Carnage!

Might have been an idea to get a car with parking sensors when you have absolutely no spacial awareness whatsoever.

Our car park at work is amazing. It's so badly designed in a estate you need a reverse turn into an empty space just to line up for the up/down ramps. Every wall has evidence of people getting it wrong.

Early one day, csl and I were tootling around the North Circular (a suburban London race-track) en route for Cheddar. My Skoda granny-mobile and Mr Bean driving style were too much temptation for a big man in a big black Range Rover and his mates in a big grey Merc. Both shot past a good 40mph faster, the Range Rover cut across less than 12 inches from the front wing of my car, the Merc. followed at a more reasonable distance. Since it was 7am and the road was completely clear, Mr big black Range Rover was clearly having a giggle at my expense.

Imagine our surprise when, 30 seconds later, the grey Merc. started flashing a blue light and the big black Range Rover pulled over. Karma is indeed a bitch.

On a similar tip..... WHY?!

http://www.gumtree.com/p/ferrari/absolutely-stunning-replica-ferrari-f355-berlinetta.-leather-seats.-62000-miles-only.-mot-05-2015./1092104625

"Car was originally MR2" It still is a fucking MR2!

:slap: :slap: :slap: :slap: :slap: :slap: :slap: :slap:
They just don't get it do they. Putting a Ferrari engine in an MR2 now that has an modicum of cool to it. My uncle worked in Germany in the '80s and tells a great story about cruising down the Autobahn around 100mph in his Mk2 Scirocco, overtaking a few slow Porsches feeling pretty pleased with himself, sees something in his rear view mirror approaching a tad quickly, what appears to be a totally unmodded Morris 1000 passes him doing about 130. He sees the guy at the next services and has a chat to him. He'd only gone and squeezed an engine from a Lotus Eclat in that bad boy.  8)

I never realised these abominations existed.

There are loads of them on ebay including a "DB9 Volante" (Toyota Celica), "360 Spider" (MR2 again) and an "F430 Scuderia" which sold for £28k and is actually a Ford Cougar.

What the fuck is wrong with these people?  :rtfm:
