Been trying to find a simple way of permanently adding subtitles to films (mp4 files) without much success.

Lots of the information on the internet (using VLC or Handbrake etc) is bullshit and I tried another way doing it manually with .bat files etc but that didn't work either, was a total pain and anyway, I felt like slackers.
