Was in a bit of a quandary about whether to post this here. It's on private land and people have been escorted off in the past. I'd hate to jeopardise access nearby. I think it's probably sufficient to put this here to give people an idea that it's out there.
It's very likely that this will have been climbed before but it isn't recorded anywhere. The right arête, climbed on its steep side, could probably be climbed in cool connies. Looks very hard and above a shit landing.
Happy hunting!

Borderline innit. There's a pad at the base of the sapling and if you fall on the crux you do land on it.

Nice, have you spoken to Dave B about this place? He's on here occasionally but I forget his user name so he'll probably see this.

Dave B as in Psycho Dave?
It would be good to hear a tale of anyone who had been. I'm not saying this is likely to be a first, just a first recording.

I did this yesterday - albeit only after Will had forced marched me up hundreds of metres of horrendous bracken clad, crevasse ridden hillside.   Luckily I really enjoyed the problem when I got there,  the moves out right are really lovely.  It's not E1, being both harder and easier.  Highball 6Bish?

You speak with forked tongue. Safer and harder? Looks cool.

Something like that. The vide foreshortens it quite a lot and doesn't really show the drop to the landing, which is flat though.

Does this mean Will is both bad at grading and scared of high problems? ;)

Those are just two of my numerous shortcomings.

I thought, after studying an os map, that there might be an easier approach to the boulder. This was a mistake. Either approach is hell on earth, especially when swarmed by hundreds of flies! Thankfully, Andy enjoyed the problem, which was a great relief after putting him through the ordeal of the approach.
