If there's no data to recover and you only want to remove XP just format and scan the drive when you install the next OS, or what slackline said.
Otherwise, I've got an XP Pro disc but it won't repair a Home version if that's what you have. It will let you install the recovery console, can be used to replace damaged files.
If you're just looking to recover data get hold of (or make) a bootable linux usb.
