Decent V5's on yorkshire grit
March 27, 2013, 05:54:40 pm
So a while back I was asking about decent V4's (6b 6b+) well that went well. So moving on, anybody got any favourite V5 and V6 that I should know about other than Pebble Wall and the Pinch as they are on the list?

Some good stuff there thanks. Seventh Wave looks like my thing and any reason to go to Widdop is always good. Horror Arete looks aptly named. Liked the look of Wavelength too, not climbed at Hunters Stones need to change that.

Is Walking The Dog a V5 or 4? Whatever, do it anyway!

Seventh wave might be the best problem i have ever climbed on gritstone. Absolutely love it. Horror arete is also very good and not as scary as it sounds with a couple decent pads. Jumping back across the gap, once you top out, is scarier in my opinion. Enjoy.

It's not that bad, it can be sketchy when there's a headwind!!

Forgot about A Little Sparkle looks like quality. I have had a few goes on Whisky Galore will need a few more, but a great problem. Need to get my pith helmet  out of the shed for a Little Sparkle and face the jungle.

+1 for Horror Arete & if you find yourself @ Widdop on seventh wave, have a scan of Groovy People, found this quite rewarding at the 6c mark.
