Looks like this years Melloblocco will be 10 days : 26 April to 5th May (nearly unusable website here :

This makes it slightly more do-able (it's an 8 hour drive for me), if combined with a family holiday.
Anyone been there with kids? Either to Melloblocco itself or generally to Val Masino?
All info about things to do apart from bouldering gratefully received - ice cream, mountain biking, rainy day possibilities??
