[Lakes][St. Bees][Beachcomber][7b]

Just when you think there can’t be too many lines left at St Bees, something catches your eye. There are a few harder looking projects to go but it see quite rare that mid grade addition turns up.

This little treasure is found on the Fire Island/Trailer Trash block, a few minutes walk beyond Fisherman's Dyno:

I went scouting a bit past Fisherman’s Dyno bloc and saw that someone had chalked a short arête on the back of Fire Island/Trailer Trash bloc. A nice little feature. However, I double took as I put the bloc into perspective and realised that there was a plumb line in the form of a rising rib traverse. Easily missed but so obvious when you look at it in context.

Not too hard, maybe 7a+ or 7b, but another excellent problem to add to the exemplary circuit.

Is this not just a standing start to cage fighter?

Shit, my bad...yes it is.
I had never heard of Cage Fighter and thought Fire Island/Trailer Trash were the only recorded lines. Apologies for that and should have done my homework first! The low start looks great but was soaking wet.

Sorry to piss on your chips. Stuff down that end doesn't seem to get much traffic so its pretty forgiveable.
