I am moving to Winchester in the next week, from the north west. It would appear there is much less rock on the doorstep down that way than I am used to up here....
I don't know anyone down there either, so am looking to find friendly bouldering types to hook up with. I am sure I will meet people at the walls, looks like Reading and Craggy Island are my nearest bigger walls. But am keen to get outside as much as possible. I don't know where to go either, so any advice about where to head to would be greatly received. I mainly boulder, but don't mind doing sport routes, no trad though, too much hassle for my liking. I am a bit of a punter and only boulder around V4 limit at the moment, so not really looking for super nails venues.
Any suggestions? Apart from not moving down south and staying near Yorkshire, Lakes and Wales!!!!
