A month of military-patrolled no-fly-zone 50 miles north of "Lord" Coe's personal "oik-free" sandpit.
The British Gliding Association has made it utterly clear that we cannot risk infringing this airspace for a range of reasons. Aircraft flying within 5km of the restricted zone will apparently be tracked on radar and intercepted if they infringe. At best the pilot concerned would have their license suspended, probably face criminal prosecution, and in extremis be shot down if they fail to cooperate with the intercepting aircraft.
