No. The shaft doesn't actually reach the surface, and was only discovered about ten years back.

What? Scroll up, it was Caer Caradoc.

Last post seems to have appeared out of order - I was replying to Jern. Slackline is of course right.

Stabbsy bags another 3 too. Will stick some more up later...

5. I can check the guide when I go home, but I can remember the pho. I'll go for a guess with Ian French.

Slackers I hope you're not the sort of person that sits in the pub quiz on google?  Or did you just happen to know the depth of Titan to the metre?  ;D

17.  Niall Grimes. Niall Grimes. True or false?

18.  If driving from Ringinglow Village to the parking for Bamford, how many cattle grids do you cross?

19.  How old was John Allen when he made the first ascent of Old Friends at Stanage?

20.  Which Peak District crag was described by an unknown poet in the year 1400 as “rogh knokled knarres with knorned stones”?

21.  Which was the second route to feature on a UK magazine cover with the strapline ‘could this be Britain’s first 6c?’ Bonus point for the magazine.

22.  Guide quote: "The Living End”. Name the route?@

The Boss was 14. But 2 cattle grids is wrong.

No.

The Wrecking? On a phone perchance? Try holding it the right way up - your west was east.

Wrong.

3 cattle grids of course - one at the east side of Ringinglow bog, then one either side of Dennis Knoll.

21 and 1 have already been answered, but carry on if you enjoy shouting wrong answers at an empty room.

Still waiting for:

17.  Niall Grimes. Niall Grimes. True or false?

20.  Which Peak District crag was described by an unknown poet in the year 1400 as “rogh knokled knarres with knorned stones”?

22.  Guide quote: "The Living End”. Name the route?
