That's fucking brilliant. Ah diddums! :-*  :'(

Quality Australian Whines.

to summarise;

1) They were intimidated by an unfriendly crowd (like every team who plays away has to deal with)
2) They can't play in difficult weather conditions
3) The side has no depth and can't play when it's missing a few key players.
4) They can't play in difficult weather conditions.

Cry me a river.

Finding quite a few of the pool matches a bit uninspiring to be honest. Gets interesting when the knockout matches start.

clinical win over the usa this morning. I think the aussie stats where poor tho especially handling errors/turn overs and missed kicks.
Looking forward to england/romania and france/nz tomorrow. If the french get their shit together it could be a very good match

Right Galpinos, I've watched that four or five times now and I reckon with another half dozen viewings, I'll be fully conversant with the rules......and just how gorgeous the girl with the All Black hair is.......

Are you heading down tonight? I don't get to Franklin's Gardens much these days but try to catch the Saints when they're up here.

I'm going with a group of Sale fans, lucky me. At least I'll enjoy myself........  ;)

Not bad from england this morning.
France were very poor and nz didn't look all that either.
I think the springboks are going to walk this world cup

Yeah Jim, good result.  Now we've got some forwards who don't just cave in, it's looking pretty encouraging.  Tuitupo put in some big hits too....  :bounce:

Expect a whole load more whines on Monday as they had quite a few more players ruled out of future games through injury.

great physical game this morning, Argies & Scots. low scoring but exciting. could of done with the Scots winning to ensure us going through to the next stage but they both need to win with bonus points and for us to lose by more than 7 points which I recon is going to be pretty unlikely.

I'll be in the cabbage patch pub next saturday morning in Twickenham to watch Eng vs Scot match and then be at the stoop in the afternoon to watch sale vs harlequins.

I think Scotland could have won a vital game, but I think they've blown it, as I doubt they will take England on.

I would have to say that the Argies are the better team and do deserve to go through.
Good to see Namibia get a try against the welsh this morning, was funny watching 2 big hookers chasing each other, looked almost like it was in slow motion.
They had a real good spell in the 2 quarter of the game, shame they couldn't maintain it and the scrum was poor from both teams throughout.

My predictions for after the group stages:

Quarter finals should look like:
England vs France - should be comfortable win for england
Ireland vs Wales - difficult one to predict but I think Ireland might just take it if they can continue their improving form
NZ vs Argies - NZ should win this although I recon it'll be a brutal encounter
SA vs Ausies - think the Springbok's will take this

Semi finals should be:

England vs Ireland - Hopefully england will win!
NZ vs SA - I think SA are the best team in the WC easily

leading to hopefully:

Enland vs SA final - would be nice to win but I think SA will make world cup history by retaining the world cup for the first time.

I think you are right, shame if NZ come up against SA in semi as I think they are 2 strongest teams in the tournament.

It was the same with Fiji v Samoa last weekend. The hits the forwards were putting in were awesome. 1 pass per phase, somethimes less. Proper up the jumper rugby.

England were fucking shite yesterday. The aussies only just scrapped a win, mainly down to some terrible refereeing decisions which cost SA the game. I think its a shame that we beat the argies
at th start of the group stages as they played really well and I recon could've beaten france and gone through to the semi's.
Looks like my predictions were all wrong
not sure if wales have another match like that in them

Frankly Jim, who gives a shit about England when Sale are third in the Premiership!?  Better still, Tigers second from bottom - oh happy days..... :dance1:

I think SA not scoring enough points cost them the game. Yes there were some bad decisions, but I don't think they played a particularly good game, and deserved to go out anyway.
