Looking to get hold of a desk and decent chair that my girlfriend can use to do her dissertation from.

She's just moved in with me in Nether Edge and doesn't want to spend the time lugging her laptop and books up to the uni every day of the week.

Not looking for a massive office-style thing (my flat ain't that big), just something big enough to have a laptop and a few papers on, but a decent office-style ergonomic chair would be good.

Free would be ideal is it's only needed for 3 months, or would happily take on loan , or consider cheapish options

If anyone can help out then it would be massively appreciated

There's a fairly cheap second hand furniture store on Abbeydale Road just out of town from the Broadie, always loads of office stuff there. In fact I'm sitting on one of their chairs right now.

Failing that there are a few cheap used office furniture stores just down from the Foundry.

I've just driven down Abbeydale road and can confirm that Grimer is still sitting in one of their chairs in front of the shop with a shotgun across his lap; next to him is an inbred looking kid playing a banjo.

I have an appointment later with a man from here about a potential home office suite. But if that goes wrong I'll go via Empire Road on the way home.
