Witness the gritness: Higgar
July 01, 2011, 12:12:43 am
Has anyone shorter than 6 feet done this ?
I'm 5 11 with a positive ape index and couldn't make it tonight on several good attempts.

I could catch the sloping right hand edge of the top break but it seems miles further right to the good bit of the hold.
My left hand was in the obvious undercut, right foot on smear, left foot on good hold.

Help please

I meant sloping left hand edge of the break not right hand edge

i'm 5 10 with positive index. memory is a bit hazy, but i think you kick off back foot onto left foot and get the poor hold in break, then pull through for a better one. left foot high maybe? that doesn't help much does it.

OK thanks
I guess it means that I need to move my left foot after I've got the poor bit of the break - which is definitely something to try

Presuming Cofe added the morpho bit in the guide, as the first ascensionist isn't that tall.
