BMC have just been informed by Shropshire Wildlife Trust that peregrines have started nesting on Foreigner Wall, at Llanymynech. This is a new site and different to the site usually used which is just beyond Red Walls.
Shropshire Wildlife Trust have requested that climbers avoid Nomad Wall, Grid Iron Wall (and for now) continue to respect the existing restricion at Black and Red Walls at Llanymynech.

BMC have only just (late on Friday)  been informed of this devlopment and hope to have further information on this issue on Monday. If it's confirmed that birds are nesting on Foreigner Wall, then this will have serious implications on access to Llanymynech, and we will be pressing the Wildlife Trust to relax the historic restrictions at Black and Red Walls.

The restrictions on Grid Iron Wall and Nomad wall have now been lifted, as the Wildlife Trust have confirmed that the perergines are nesting further west (on an unclimbed and vegetated section of cliff).

The historic restriction on Red and Black Walls continue to be in force as there appears to be two different pairs of peregrines at Llanymynech.

The BMC RAD has now also been updated.
