Yeah I'm bored......so here goes.... :roll:

I've always noticed that generally when confronted with a 2 finger pocket/hold, most people seem to use their middle 2 fingers, (i.e. middle and ring finger), but personally i always feel stronger using middle and first finger. If i try the other way its feels weak and un-natural.   :huh:

I know it varies from hold to hold as to what might fit best, but for the purposes of this discussion lests assume a generic indoor-wall style average 2 finger pocket. So which do you use? :?:

I use my middle finger and my ring finger, 'cos I heard they were the strongest. But, having said that, the guy who told me might have been talking out of his arse.

I think it's purely personal preference - if I use the other combo, it feels like I'm going to pop a tendon or something... which I've so far managed to avoid thank fook....

Alright Dave. Went to Earl with the thin one yesterday and did fuck all-it was well too cold even to warm up. Tried a couple of probs but felt like my whole body was about to pack in! Steve put his boots on for about 5 mins before giving up- I persevered and tried that underpants thing and sloping beauty. Got close to both but just never quite warmed up...quality problems though.
Are you cragging tommorrow- I've seen John today and he seems up for it if the weather is good

Well up for anything really, the usual ticklist of boulder problems etc etc. Just hope weather holds out. I'll be on the blower to J-Lo tonite so no doubt someone will blow either you or steve to arrange a rondezvous. Flava.
