Does anybody know anything about this route? It's mentioned here:
http://www.rockfax.com/databases/r.php?i=9836
Or does anybody know who simes303 might be?

I tried this today and got very comprehensively shut down.

He has a profile on the other channel and also a YouTube account with some headpoint footage http://www.youtube.com/user/simes303#p/u

He may even have posted on here once or twice?

I am not in fact a stalker

His Youtube profile is here...http://www.youtube.com/user/simes303#p/u

I guess you could contact him through that if you wanted more details about the route etc.

Nik's just asking how to get hold of the guy, and you are already expecting his most intimate details!

It was a general wondering, not a quiz, although you could ask when you e-mail.

So it's someone called Simon Nadin, but not THE Simon Nadin? Ace, thanks for the knowledge.

G I'll ask him about Morbid whatnots once I've enquired about his inside leg measurement and what he likes to spread on his toast...

Quite a few folk have done this all thinking they got the first ascent, myself included. We started off the ledge on the left, not off the deck. Bomber blue tri cam(masters edge one).

So do you start quite high up on the left and reach the big pocket to pull on? I can't reach the big pocket from anywhere, and there's no holds anywhere near it.
Then yard up the three pockets to a hard last move to get up into the scoop? Or did you head out to the arete? The link I posted mentioned the arete but it seemed way off to the right to me .

I'm thinking maybe it's not one for me...

Will do, if you haven't done Daytona Wall then you should get up there, it's a very good route.

Yea that high start, just jump to the pocket, dont remember it being to bad. As to using the arete or not i cant recall, you ll be fine. I think Jaffa Cake is a better name. Less serious sounding!!

I was thinking I'd be lucky to get one reply to this thread. Turns out I'm the only person who doesn't know this guy and hasn't done the route, sheesh...
