Don't play coy with me. I saw that lustful look in your eye every time I bridged.

Or maybe you just go for 1970s transvestites.

You could see through my eyelids? Luckily I couldn't.

No wonder your spotting's so bad.

Alreeeet. It's cool thinking back on the year, gets me psyched for this one.

Top three boulder probs, UK
"Weather Report", Stanage: Was well worried on this as had a recovering broken ankle but late in the day psyched got the better of me!
"Powerbanned": awesome problem and scenes, plus a guinness in the lescar after!!
"Jerrys Arete" Cratcliffe: Just another problem on just another pukka day out that you forget you've had
Top three boulder probs, abroad
Loads of Val Di Mello stuff, the only ones I can remember are "Titanic" and the 6a+ thing nea it that has to be the hardest 6a+ in the world!!
Top three trad routes/soloes UK
"Trilogy" Raven Crag Landale and "Penal Servitude" at Reecastle: Remember being really surprised and pleased at how easy these felt, thought that I wouldn't be able to cut it back on the trad after hanging on bolts at malham failing, but every move felt so much easier than anything at Malham. Good psyched teaming up with Ed Booth too!!
"Rainbow Bridge Extension" Berry Head: Flippin awesome team in the south west getting ready to Smash it in 3! Pirate Ropes Rule!!
Top three sport routes UK
"Roof Warrior" Cheedale Cornice and "Powerplant" WCJ Cornice: 8a is the new 7c, get in!!!
"Gates of Greyskull" Lulworth Cove, again good team effort!!
Top three routes abroad (any genre)
"Bandito" Cala Barques, Mallorca: Outstanding scenes on Gibb's stag do "smash it in 3", one of the best team trips ever. Did this near the start of the trip when I could still climb, not after 9 days on climbing and boozing!!
"Hoodo Gurus" Les Perxes, Mallorca: Awesome early season bolt clipping trip!
"7c at a crag near Montpelier":  Good last day of the trip, was totally muthered but still felt good.
Top three new route/prob put up
None, boo!!!
Top Spanking's
"Ejector Seat" Diablo, Mallorca: Oh my word!! Why didn't I take a rest day???
"Powerplant" Cheedale Cornice: hate that crux!! Wasted alot of time on this that could have been better spent!
"Caesarian" Hen Cloud: Gutted to blow this after saving it for so long, but again psyched got the better of me on the wrong day, amazing route though and  a good day out!!

So have you, or any of the Staffs crew, done this yet?

Always seems like THE E5 in Staffs, would love to do it too.

Things like this bring home how little I managed even though it felt like a good year! First time I've put any effort into trad, first trip to font and first time I've been to malham is a brief overview of 2010 for me.

Top three boulder probs, UK
Didn't really do much compared to previous years. Craig y longridge probably the highlight, getting the V4 beginning of the big traverse, getting push to prolapse 2nd go and having an extended (but not successfull) attempt at Big Marine.

Top three boulder probs, abroad
Font - Excalibur, Le Magnifique and L'Egoiste

Top three trad routes/soloes UK
Shivers Arete, Grane Wall and Overlapper (had a bit of a lancs grit tour over summer months)

Top three sport routes UK
Free and Even Easier, Rose Coronary and Hartley Hare.

Top three routes abroad (any genre)
Didn't get away for a sport trip this year

Top Spankings
Taking about 8 attempts to get Free and Even Easier.
Going to the Cromlech Boulders having done no bouldering for 4 months and tweaking a pulley.

Can't wait for 2011 - Stamina training and routes at Malham will be the main focus. Whoop.
