Am I just out of touch, or are these a new thing? I mean bouldering pads that can be joined like in this pic (won't embed due to sensitive content)

My friend has one of these. It is pretty good. Can be used as two small mats or one big one. Useful, but expensive.

FFS, has nobody got anything relevant and/or helpful to say without going  :off:

Thinking of making a generic pad-joiner-thing out of cordura and velcro. Or maybe no-more-nails?

Not sure how well Velcro would work.. It's not too great when it gets dirty/full of mud - as may happen on a Mouldering Bat..
