Need a van doss around Kendal, any suggestions or is a main road layby jobby? Thanks in advance.

There was/is a pretty large free carpark next to the river in the town centre. Also a few others which would be fine in town. Be careful though, they aren't too keen on hobbits in the Lakes.

parked by the river in that free car park, no problems, spent the whole next day there in me van with the hangover from hell, it was awesome Dan....bumped into Jim et al..need I say more..
