I've been noticing a few ads on facebook for companies making similar claims about La Sportiva deals. They are all extremely sketchy looking, and I reported one and Facebook has taken it down for going against community standards. Given I've reported other spam in the past and they do fuck all about it, I'd say this was a pretty clear scam.

I get a fair few ads on Facebook for top end British shoe makers at give away prices. The E address is always nothing like the company they are pretending to be. They claim to be an outlet shop and these companies don’t have one. I have reported them but and they disappear but they continue appear so I don’t really think Facebook gives a shit.

Ha,  I saw that on facebook and was going to get some of the jeans.  Came out of the page, then couldn't find it again on facebook so assumed they'd taken it down.  Trying to find it by google again and couldn't find it.  Total Scam.

Another example (I think) of too-good-to-be-true prices at lasportivaworld.com - ad came up on social media for me and the site is pretty convincingly set up, I'll be surprised if they don't make some decent dollar out of it. Quick Google shows the domain was registered 5 days ago in the Netherlands. I'm still not 100% convinced I'm right!

Yes, relaxed comfy fit, your build description fits mine (runner legs and bum and dad belly!).I'm a 38 / 40" waist and was surprised that this is their Large, I am normally an XL, then remembered it's US size .

bananafingers/epictv have Sportiva Testarossa 2s at 40% off in many useful sizes.

I like the Testarossa 1s but have not tried the 2s. Some people suggest going down a half size in the 2s, others suggest no change. Anyone worn both?
