Hello

looking to buy a road bike at the mo, and I was wondering if any of you wonderful chaps had anything lying around, or knew of anything suitable?

Looking to spend up to £250 and I'm 5' 7" so I understand I need a frame around 52 cm. Based in Suffolk now (so I guess I could probably do without gears), but spend lots of time in London and am regularly up in Sheff and Leeds for picking up, etc.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Don't do it, man.  Take the gears;  who knows where you'll be in 5 years?

I've got an old GT ZR 2000. Done lots of miles but rides just fine.
Carbon forks, carbon seatpost, Askium wheels, 18spd 105.
Frames about 54cm and is dull and paint chipped, but is light and stiff.
