wall near wigan

I'm working in wigan and want to know wheres a decent bouldering wall? I don't mind travelling to manchester, liverpool, blackburn if it's decent. any guidance appreciated cheifs.

Your best bet is probably Boulderuk in Blackburn.  Other options include, Awesome Walls in Stockport or West View in Preston.

its probably the closest you'll come
Its a bendcrete old school concrete wall with rock inserts.
also a steep woody and a few other things in development

Left me lantern back in the lakes marra. I do have a pocket mag light and some electrical tape though. so you might see me there.

Frodsham makes a good lantern venue at Fred Nicole buttress. Pex could be sketchy... although it's prob too cold for the scallies  :thumbsup:

I went to broughton it was classic old skool cool. Took me ages to find it though.

I was going to go to boulder uk but didn't fancy it off the pictures, it looked cramped.  I will have a run up there sometime though.

Climb Rochdale is pretty close too, just had 100 new problems set by Ste Mac.
