I am looking for a bike at the mo, though I don't know much about them...

54cm, is that quite a big frame? How tall are you?

Could it take slightly fatter tyres? Roads not the best here...

Hey, its a kind of large frame, i'm 5,10" ish and its just right.
Tyrer wise you could put a slightly larger road tyres on it but i think you'd have to change the front fork's . hope that helps

its got

xenon campanolo brakes
shimano sora crank set
shimano tiagra 9s derailleur

to be frank you're going to have trouble shifting this as a complete bike, reason:

non-original paint job with no visible frame size, frame type or serial number markers

clean non-modified examples of the specialized allez might fetch £250 on teh bay
