Very good, I was trying to point out that with computing "problem" could mean anything, there are sooo many layers involved, and describing the problem really does help in diagnosing what it is.
Also, as with
another thread earlier today choosing the appropriate place to ask your questions is also useful. I'd imagine the
blog would have something up pretty quick if there was a site wide problem, or perhaps in the
help forums (no need to even register, just scan through the top posts for others having problems).
People here at UKB are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but they're not going to know everything all of the time.
