Be great if we could get a few responses from those who bike on the moor and fervently hope that every bridleway isn't going to be turned into a motorway.

Just looked this up.  Beware, they are planning to fill in the gully's on the devils elbow descent.  This is one of the best descents in the Peak imho (or surrounding area if you are a Peak Park purist) and should not be improved.  If you have any interest in salvaging this bridleway then I suggest you fill in the form on the link given by John below.

I'm with you John.  Didn't get that inference from the SWT website nor from the site meeting I went to a while back.  I think the plan is to do a bit of work at the bottom where it's boggy, but don't hold your breath because they've got no money........

Oh, hang on though, I haven't looked but I think the gullies they're referring to are drainage gullys.  I think we're talking maintenance here, nothing dramatic....
