10mins to go here.  The question is do I the scp it to here at work and sneakily watch it (the models I'm running are currently taking 40minutes only to fail to converge, so there's scope for viewing!!).

Slack! After all this hype you are just going to watch it in the corner of the screen at work! Shame. Watch it tonight.

You know there's an easy solution to this  ;)

ISPs most likely to blame for timeouts (I suspect!)

I got the timeout message, but I was downloading it at work and had to leave so broke the connection. Any break in connection would bring up this message

It is a lovely piece of film, with plenty of humour, great music and of course endless crushing.

Best bouldering film of the year by a mile  :)

Yes obviously, but when you left work, did you turn your computer off?  An active net connection is any connection between two computers, so if you start downloading from one place to yours an connection is made, and in theory should persist until completion.  Leaving work doesn't break this.  My supposition (which I wasn't explicit about and is purely a guess) is that a steady d/l on a home computer is clocked by an ISP as being p2p traffic (and not of torrent nature, more napster/soulseek style with direct connections) and periodically disconnected.  As its a direct connection it won't be restarted.  The other possibility is that the host server is getting overloaded, but I'm pretty sure Unc experienced this with L'Etranger, and it was what prompted setting up a torrent for that, so my guess is that he will have anticipate demand and setup hosting with sufficient bandwidth.

Anyway bit of an arse having it disconnected, whatever the cause, 'cause its really good  :P  :-*
