Ipod dock/speaker thingys...
August 20, 2009, 10:08:06 am
Hello,
I'm after an Ipod dock/speaker thing (got a new internet radio app for the phone which is great) and wondered if anyone had any experience of any? Theres bloody loads of them out there and I cant make my mind up... Price range £100 or less (hopefully much less).. its for a reasonable sized room (4m by 4m) but doesnt have to be that loud...
Thanks,
Tom

If it was me, I'd be tempted to pay a bit extra and go for a Bose sounddock. Awesome sound, you'll never look back.

I've just had a quick google in order to provide a link but they seem to have gone up in price by about £50-£60 since I got mine. keep your eyes peeled for a deal though.

Do a search on www.hotukdeals.co.uk and you might get lucky.

There is some rather random results from The Register here that might help a bit. I am sure that they did a round up of the various options available a while back but I am buggered if I can find it - their search function tends to be fairly shite at the best of times.

Got one of these from the local Mega Tesco's - £82... (97 on tesco website). Seems pretty good - only 20W but thats enough for me.
Cheers for the advice,
T
