Yeah that's the Black Wall, the best bit with routes E2 to E5. Bit let down by the breaks being full of mud though...

If this picture was photoshopped and both the belayer and photographer were imaginary then this photo is a lie!!

Bloody liars every where!! Why can't people just get on with climbing eh?

cheers mate - have just got back from falling off the move in the photo (best effort to-date). think i'll add another bolt and push for the slightly harder but more secure direct finish

Some Aussie DWS.- Only 40mins and a short boat ride from Sydney CBD. Haven't tried it yet but maybe next summer......

just looked at those Redhead pics, and, very personal here, for me there are only 2 climbing pics amongst them, 2 pics that actually say anything about climbing. Arguably, the Great Wall one and the Sexual Salami one, are the two worst pics there, but the capture that emotion of climbing, whereas the rest just look like JR hoisted into a nut placement on one of his routes, and then snapped by a (really good) photographer. They seem stone dead to me.

Having said that, it is a very hard thing to do, going by the fact that you very seldom see any pictures that capture it. One of my favourites is JB's pic of Patch on Nash Acrobat in the Staffs guide. And also, having said that, the 2 JR pics that are good are really good. (humble opinion)

I really like the National Acrobat photo too, it really gives you an idea of hard gritstone climbing, with the blood on his hand, it gets you involved in it...

shot from a recently developed crag only 30 mins walk from my flat...(not by me unfortunately - I dismissed it as choss a couple of years back, turned out to actually be quite good)
