Took a fall off the top onto the wire hes clipping in the pic. Its pretty savage route, I had a go at top ropping it and let go near the top as I get scared easily (also my fat fingers wouldn't go in the crack very well)

What! IIRC at the top the crack gets wider, so fat fingers should be a big brucie bonus. Great route, to think it was done in 1973ish. Must have been one of the toughest routes in the country at the time.

no, the enigma fell off reaching for the actual top, good fall btw. jim fell off at the bottom of the top crack complaining about not being able to get his sausages in. i stood n moaned

I like your standard bosh bosh finger crack, but when they get hard you've got all the normal jamming issues plus potential for finger injury plus the gear you struggle to place goes in the hand holds.
