Good thread, some of them are amazing. So many of them are surrounded in controversy about being "staged". The Hussein statue toppling, the police man about to shoot a prisoner, the flag raising at Iwo Jima, the space landing ::)... Does this detract from their iconic status? As an amateur and not very good photographer you dream about taking a shot which captures "a moment" so succinctly and emotionally.  Whilst it doesn't stop them being amazing photo's (the Iwo Jima is brilliant) I do fell slightly cheated. I suppose it's because it's not quite a true representation of the actual events. Anyone else feel like this?
