Pinched Nerve?
April 30, 2009, 12:37:55 am
Curious to see if anyone else has experienced this. Occasionally some parts of my right foot go totally numb. For a while it was about 3 square centimeters on my instep, currently its the left hand side of my big toe. And when i say numb I mean "stick-pins-in-and-feel-nothing" numb. The only thing I can think to attribute it to is very tight rock shoes, though my left foot is ever so slightly bigger than my right and it hasn't happened on that one. Its never a particularly big area, and tends to go away with time, but is it something I should check out further?

Cheers,

Paul

Do you get any other symptoms sch as low back pain?pain down outside/back of thigh, or outside/back/inside of calf? What about any noticable muscle weakness, particularly around your ankle - going up on tip toes, or pulling your toes upwards?

No, no noticeable pain or muscle weakness. Just a small patch of localised numbness that seems to have moved around.

Cheers
