I've no qualms over revealing my real name or where I live, I use it when I PM people all the time on this site and others where I use the exact same pseudonym.  I prefer a pseudonym so that my ramblings aren't uncovered when applying for jobs and such like (have UKB setup under FoxyProxy too at work).

Facebook is far worse (not signed up myself).

Just checked, they still haven't been past my front door.  You can see it from a nearby road, but they didn't drive right past my front door so no full-360^o view.
