Sorry Golt, I've gone with an N95 and have only seen others iPhone's.
One of the reasons for going with this option was the relative "openness" of the Symbian platform in so much as the API was freely available and that meant that anyone could write apps for it (to an extent), and it resulted in far more user generated apps, including YouTube/DivX type applications (amongst other things).
That said, a quick
search suggests your not the only one who desires such functionality.
One thing to consider is the development of Adobe's
AIR platform/app which is basically a replacement for flash and is/will be platform neutral (looking forward to it myself as it will then mean that I can use iPlayer natively on GNU/Linux). Anyway, the point is, it will likely
work on iPhone although your mileage at the moment may vary, and ultimately you will have to wait for Vimeo to switch to AIR.
