Weighted Training Belts
September 24, 2003, 04:39:36 pm
Does anyone know where I can buy a weighted training belt over the internet? Also, are there any particular weighted belts which are better than others for wearing when climbing/training?

I want to be able to boulder and climb normally while wearing it and also do campus training with it on.

I have used rucksacks filled with weights and also weights attached to my harness (with a sling & Krab), but they move about too much or inhibit movement.

Cheers, Kev

I bought a diver's belt but the weight is not cheap, however, it is very comfortable. That is if hanging weight off your waist can be comfortable.

Tim Clifford uses a divers belt too. I on the other hand follow the lead of Big Malc and use both ankle weights tied together then round my waist. Argos - £10.

just drink lots of beer like me and you won't need any additional weight
