philo, I'm aware there is bouldering.no  which has a pretty extensive image and video library.

I know there's some near Stavanger as I have stayed there for a month with some relatives. From a coach journey I took from Haugesund to Stavanger, I can tell you there are probably millions of undeveloped boulders throughout Norway. Sorry I don't really know of any other links though.

Philo,
just returned from our annual october trip to the areas around Stavanger. It was great as always! However, just a reminder that the weather can be dodgy this time of year. If its raining stay on the coast. It dries up extremely fast. We had sessions in between showers, works fine!
the texture here is rough on the skin, but the friction is excellent when cold, pretty much like Grit.

If you decide to go I´m sure the locals will be helpful. Drop them a line at: http://www.buldreinfo.com/gjestebok.php

Yeah, I know its in norwegian but you´ll figure it out ;)
There are so many spots to visit so you will be better off with some local knowledge. When are you thinking of going anyway? Always keen on a wee trip.

Oh, and I think Benjamin is stranded for a while now. Got himself a house project ;D

Stavanger is the best place for a long bouldery weekend. Plenty here and it is all within an hour or so of the town.
Dale is 15 mins away. Oltedal, Spinneriet, Gloppedalen, Sirevåg are all under an hour away.
Eiane and Lysebotn are a bit further away. All the topos are on http://www.buldreinfo.com/forer.php

Best places: Gloppedalen, Sirevåg

Let me know if you want more of the local lowdown

Try Hallvar Frey on www.straightline.no he is a good friend of mine, that regularly comes to my place for some bouldering and has developped several top climbing areas in Norway.
Alson there is the Nordic Boulder Contest in Lillehammer at the end of november at the Tyrilli Gym. Check http://klatring.tyrili.no/ ask for Rune Osvold who is the organiser, he can also show you lots of their local outdours, if the weather permits.
Cheers, Stef.
