Jerry Moffatt Autobiography
October 06, 2008, 02:30:21 pm
Some of you guys may have already seen this over on UKC but this winter we'll be publishing Jerry's autobiography. Grimer is ghostwriting it and he's doing a very good job but then I would say that wouldn't I?

We'll be putting more stuff up here and you can register to keep up to date with progress or for news about signed copies.

He may not climb much these days but the stuff he's done over the last 25-30 years is still incredibly inspiring.

Surely that's going to be a very short book?

Hell yes. The first climbing related multimedia product that I'm definitely going to spend money on. I can't wait. Do you think it would be alright if I got a tattoo of Jerry Moffatt's signature?

Did indeed read about this on UKC and am have to say I'm keen to read this.

I think the Ron Fawcett book scheduled for later in the year could be good too, and ditto for Dawes biography which has been touted as being a work in progress for some time.

theres used to be a paragraph on his website along the lines of "johnny is starting to write is autobiography, but has forgotten most of the details and events in his life. If you have any memory ff what johnny did, please write in to the usual address." hilarious and co.

Fucking excellent!

With my ear pressed to the ground, I can already hear Nibile running as fast as he can to the UK for a signed copy.

I read the early drafts of some chapters on a surf trip with Jerry this Summer whilst the book was still being written and it's really good.  Jerry's such a natural story teller with a lot of stories and Grimer's worked his magic to knit everything together.

Nice work verdebread geezers....  :great:
