does anyone know how to get from Gap to Ceuse without a car?
I dont want to hitch since theres 2 of us and we are carrying a lot of gear. and id imagine a taxi would be very expensive. is there any other way of getting there?
Or is anyone planning on going there in the next couple of weeks? if so we would be happy to pitch in money for a ride.

Taxi isn't actually that bad but I cant really see why you don't want to hitch? the locals are really friendly towards climbers and the gear etc. won't be an issue. If however on your way back down a local lady stops who drives some battered old peugeout (that doesn't really rule a lot of the french out does it?) estate DO NOT get in, she seems to thinks she's a distant relative of Alain Prost.

In my hazy memory I seem to remember someone mentioning an infrequent bus from Gap to Sigoyer (sp?), but most people were hitching up there no worries.

In 1992 I got the bus to Sigoyer and walked up to the campsite.
