I need some sugestions about where to boulder tonight.  Are you going out and if yes then where.  I would like reasonable conditions.  Dave, you are usualy down with all this weather malarky, on a day like to day, where should I go.

we're on a N-NW wind in the peak according to metcheck.com, so you wanna be pimping somewhere like burbage south, gardoms north boulders, stanage far north, probably some of the stride, over owler tor,  and all the limestone if dry. Basically anywhere that will catch the wind will be ok. Simply really, wind=ok, no wind=midge death.

id still be wary of going on grit even if it is windy - went to stanage last week - with a wind blowing - and still the blood sucking bastards came out!! :shock: should be ok on higgar tonite though

Higgar was bad last night, and similar wind so reckon thats out...

trellis is the wall oposite silent spring in the very first quarry you get to (should be able to recognize wizard ridge above it from hard grit). Trellis is only about V6 so don't get excited about the "V9" grade. might be in the wind yeah.

Best bet will be the far end of the crag, like midget gem etc. like way past parthian shot by a 100 yards etc. Enjoy, i'm off home now.
