I've been told Sardinia has got some mental bouldering areas.  A friend of mine went last November and said it was still really warm, but not too warm to climb.

I'm seriously thinking about going myself.

I think there's a good Sardinia bouldering website somewhere, can't remember what it's called though, but I'm sure you'll be able to find it.

Ditto, I'm probably going sardinia in september with my biatch, and banking on some bouldering on the north tip of the island. I belive theres bouldering all over the place, but it is the size of Wales so you can't go everywhere. Spoke to someone who'd just come back from doing routes there and said it was amazing. Will probably be too hot in september though, but I'll try.

The place at the tip of Sardinia is Capo Testa and its fucking unreal.

Blocks up to the size of houses and more and some of the weirdest shapes around- Like Dali designed the place. Bad landings galore but the rock is quality smooth rounded stuff.

I was out there with the woman last year and unfortunately not bouldering but was gutted I didn't have the kit when I saw that place. Check out the giant cock (complete with bellend and veins-) - Don't know if you're allowed to climb on it but those veins are quality slopes.

I'm also told there is an arse and a vag elsewhere...........

Mmmmmm!  If I had lady bits they'd be wet after seeing those pictures.  Where can I find info on all the bouldering, I think a trip to Sardinia is definitely in order.

Sardiniablock.it puts most other web-sites to shame.  If only I could understand Italian though :( .  Are there any translation tools available on-line anywhere?

Anyone know what time of year to go is best? I have time off in November and over Xmas.

Thats the problem - It never really gets that cold but cools a bit.

Never been in the winter, but the guy we rented our apartment off said temps of 20c in January were quite common!!

I know a few bods who've been sport climbing in the autumn/winter and they said it was 'comfortable' - whatever that means!

Me and Sel might well be heading out in September too !!

There's shed loads of bouldering all round the island - and sport climbing for those who are interested too.

Seems accomodation is quite expensive though - anyone found any bargains? I'd love a cottage/villa type thing as opposed to camping....

Me and the biatch will be getting a hotel in the santa teresa area. Yes I know it might be dear, but if we get cheap flights then it'll make up for it.

That looks so sweet - best get looking for somewhere to stay - reckon Sept should start to be cooling off but still with nice hot water for swimming....

I belive yeah, cooling off in the sense that the average temperature for september will have plumetted to a baltic 26degrees! I think the north part of the island gets a fair bit of wind though, which is where we'll be. Anyone know if a small Pod mat fits into the boot of a Fiat 600?
