hi all, currentl live in west kirby wirral, but casually wondering what the chances are of setting up home in Llanberis and finding a job. Whether or not my degree would be of any benefit I have no idea.

Work prospects are not brilliant, but if you are determined, you'll find something. The best tactic is to just go for it and take whatever comes up so that you can pay your rent, then just keep looking. People come and go, sooner or later the better jobs come up for grabs.

Or if you dont mind travelling 10-15 minutes a day then there are a few kobs in bangor most of the time.

being 22, i have nothing to lose really by making a move, more just worried about being able to get a job that will pay my rent and give me enough to climb lots. Does anyone know how easy it would be to find a room with some other climbers in the area. Making a move on my own would be fairly daunting I guess, and dont really know anyone in the vicinty im afraid.
