Hiya,
does anyone know of any decent bouldering around Ullapool?

I know about Ardmair beach, just wondering if there is owt else around that neck of the woods worth traipsing around for?

Stella venue at Reiff in the woods, a stones throw from Stac polly, nothing really hard, but a great place to commune with nature, Karma rating high, a really pleasant circuit, for me the problem Haven V5 really stood out, better get the skates on as this is prime flying shark country.
Allso some stuff around rhue just north of Ullapool, the hollow, good for an easy climb around, Nipples V3 is reet bo.

There must be bag loads of undeveloped stuff, just go forth and discover. Must be shed loads at Reiff too.

good roof facing out to sea on the pinnacle at reiff pinnacle area also some highball e4/5ish routes climable with a mat just along from westering home- roof especially is worth checking as its long and on good holds.

Yeah also at Rieff, the bouldering cliff has some outstanding microroute/highballs plus a bomber low level traverse, these climbs are probably the best of there genere in Scotland, the rock is imaculate, White horses**E2 6a/V3, Romancing the Stone E3 6b ***,  highball V5/6, Silverback V6 the dynamic overhung arete, i really should not be giving out this sort of info, use wisely.

Further up the coast around Rubha Coigeach area there are some bays filled with car sized sandstone boulders on the wave platforms, some of which look magic. Earmarked for further investigation, I always get distracted by the quality routes.
