Frequent Flyers

Right all this talk of Castle Hill has really got me thinking, I need to get my arse in gear and decide where I am going to go on my so called climbing world trip I keep spouting about (and get my round the world ticket booked).

Question is...Where to go, I thought a good way to get me thinking about it would be to watch Frequent Flyers.

My main problems is...Where the fuck can I get hold of a copy of Freqeunt Flyers, I tried to find a copy of it last year and failed miserably even after I contacted Pusher - they said they couldn't ship it to the UK.

Anyone got any ideas, how I can lay my hands on a copy in this country?

I bought a copy from The Edge back in the day when Pusher was distributed by S7. If i were you i would ring round The Edge, Outside, Hitch N' Hike etc and see if anyone has any copies left. Or try ebay,  or ask someone on boldering.com to post you a copy.

It's odd that Pusher said that coz I bought a copy from Mo's shop at the Edge last year - might be worth giving him a ring (0114 275 8899) to see if he's got any left.

If you get really stuck, I'm sure one of us can reel you off a "backup copy" or something....

I've already rang around most of the usual suspects, but given the length of time since it was first released no one seems to have a spare copy kicking around and coupled with the fact S7 has gone to shit.

Basically that was the reason why I got in contact with Pusher in the first place, they were selling it through their website. I sent them a mail just to make sure they would be able to fulfil the order.

Anyhow they got back in contact advising they wouldn't be able to process the order because I wasn't a US resident and to get in contact with the distributors - you guessed it S7.

I would do you the honours but i've only got one VCR.

Still, I'm sure there will be an american climbing shop out there somewhere that would be willing to take your order.

another one worth giving a try is Tug Climbing - the shop that advertises on cxm - i got the Dosage through them and they were even good enough to knock down the shipping rates as it was only one small item - added to which, when the DVD wouldn't play in my machine they sent me another one straightaway and said keep the old one as a coaster or something (which we later found out worked fine on my mates Mac!)

Stu, did the dosage DVD have anything different on it to the ones you can download?

trying to remember waht was on the downloads...............

either way its one of the best climbing vids out so its worth owning a copy - with the exception of Josh Lowells crap links between clips that is

Looking forward to the next one coming out - can't wait to see that psicobloc thingy on a bigger screen - converted the download to an avi and burnt it to VCD but the quality suffered big time on a 25" screen!
