I don't really watch any TV.

But I play way too much Halo 2 on Xbox Live and XBC.

When I'm not working, climbing stripping the walls of the lounge or doing housework I sometimes watch tv, but I'm sad to say I have been watching BB this year.
I don't usually get into it till towards the end when they've thinned out the losers.

When was Sugar Rush on?

last night straight afta BB.

I agree most of the stuff on TV is absolute bullshit.

In defence of BB, everyone watches it purely for the way it shows human group behaviour/social interaction and phsycological results of a truly forced society and not for the tits and fights

I am pleased to say that I have never owned my own television, and have not had access to one for about 4 years. Having seen the occasional TV listing recently I don't think I am missing much, I can live without the few good programmes a week.

I once saw a small section of Big Brother and found it entirely incomprehensible, I'd say it's the worst thing I've ever seen on television but to be honest it's not even comparable to anything else apart from other programmes suitable for toddlers (most of which I'm sure are infinitely better). At best, utterly unwatchable.

When there was a TV around, I tended only watch American programmes beginning with an "S" - Simpsons, Star Trek, South Park, and Sopranos.

Having said that,  I can't be too sanctimonious as like the B-Man I have a healthy gaming and internet addiction heh.

I don't watch much TV either, there are some good programs on, but I don't have a set routine every week, so I'm never watching TV at the same time eveyweek.  Ironically I used to watch more TV programs when I didn't have a TV as I'd download them and watch them when I had some spare time.  I needed a tv from quite an early age to play Speccy games on, although I don't own one now.

Program I tend to watch most is actually Samurai Jack.  I don't really get big brother, from what I've seen, which isn't very much, you sit down and watch other people sitting down not doing much.  I'd rather talk to someone I know about crap than watch two people I don't know talk about crap.  From what I've heard they're just picking a lot of exhibitionists and extroverts to have fights/sex with each other.  Not my cup of tea.

My take on BB - I watched a lot of the first one and found it genuinely interesting as it was something new and a fresh idea. I don't think anyone was expecting the participants to become such instant "celebs" after the show.

The problem with all the subsequent ones is that all the fame-craving wannabees started applying and when in the house, you could tell everyone was/is being concious of their image on camera and thinking of how to milk the whole celeb thing after the show, thus ruining the "fly on the wall" aspect of the show and making for some pretty boring viewing.

I cant remember who said it, but it was something along the lines of reality TV participants being either members of the public who are about to become very minor celebrities, or very minor celebrities who are about to become members of the public.

Catterick. I ( and this has been qualified by other people in my office), believe its the best work vic and bob have done for ten years. They haven't just qualified that I believe this; they qualified it to be true! My grammer doesn't matter that much though, I'm not a teacher I'm just aware there are pedants who could glib me off the web for good. What matters is someone out there will have been to jail for armed robbery post office or something, been released, turned on the telly and thought 'nowts changed'.
