The landowner and archaeologists have become concerned at the creation of "landing pads" and the clearance of rocks and levelling works carried out to make the site a better bouldering venue. However it seems that the base of the bouldering areas contains some important pre-historic remains that are being damaged by this activity. To prevent any formal restrictions at this excellent all weather bouldering venue, please do not alter any of the rock or the landing here. There are no issues with climbing here or the actual bouldering - it's just the creation of nice gentle landing areas and modification of the base and the clearance of the rocks below the bouldering sites.
