My Dads just informed me that the Railway Bridge at the bottom of Bamford Main Road is shut due to a gas leak, and may be shut for about 3 weeks!!!!

Guess its Thornhill or Bamford Edge roads if you're heading out that way.

Could be a right pain in the arse. Will keep you updated.

Yep heard the same SamT from a friend in Bamford, said up to three weeks on the letter they got from Hope Valley College. Thornhill roads will be gridlocked pretty easily I suspect too, probably better to go New Road under Bamford edge and on to Dennis Knoll
